Evaro Employment works with numerous employers throughout the Wellington region.  Examples of employers we have worked with include:  AWF, The Rydges Hotel, Cibus Catering, The Barking Lot, Franklins, New World, Manor Park Private Hospital, Trust Property Management Group, Compass Group Ltd, Countdown/Woolworths and McDonalds. 

Employment Consultants approach employers & businesses that the client has identified as places they would be interested in working. Clients have full decision-making over which jobs to apply for and what businesses to approach. 

One of our roles at Evaro Employment is to increase disability awareness and highlight to employers the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.

People have been supported to work in a wide range of employment roles including: cleaner, office worker, database assistant, hammer hand, store person, retail assistant, kitchen hand, support worker, caregiver, quality supervisor, nanny, trolley wrangler, co-ordinator, laundry assistant, fish processor, waiter, factory worker, customer service worker, and sales assistant.

To be eligible to use Evaro Employment services a person must meet the following criteria:

• Be motivated to look for paid work.
• Want to work a minimum of 5 hours per week in a paid job.
• Have a dignosed disability (mental health, intellectual, physical or sensory).
• Be under the age of 65.
• Be a NZ citizen or permanent resident living in the greater Wellington region – Kapiti, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Porirua or Wellington. 

A referral form is then completed to access the service.
